Ajinomoto CELLiST Korea Demonstrates Warm Companionship Through Employee Volunteer Activities at a Stray Dog Shelter

From cleaning kennels to walking dogs... A special day of bonding with stray dogs

Ajinomoto CELLiST Korea, a specialized cell culture media company, carried out a volunteer activity on 18th of July at ‘Dorothy Jikyeojulkkae’, a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of stray animals.

Employees participated voluntarily in various activities, including cleaning kennels, organizing storage areas, and walking stray dogs. This meaningful initiative allowed participants to not only provide hands-on assistance but also engage in heartfelt interactions with the animals. Despite the hot weather, volunteers carefully cleaned and arranged the shelter environment and extended warmth and care to the dogs, many of whom had been without companionship for a long time.

Dorothy Jikyeojulkkae provides temporary shelter for rescued stray animals and supports their path toward a new life through medical treatment and adoption connections. As a non-profit social welfare organization, it plays a crucial role in the local animal welfare ecosystem. Through this initiative, Ajinomoto CELLiST Korea aims to raise awareness about animal welfare and plans to continue ongoing engagement and support for similar causes in the future.

They added, "It was a truly meaningful experience to take part in such a valuable initiative to protect stray animals."
